Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey defends state鈥檚 election integrity

On Monday, following Arizona鈥檚 certification of the November 3rd election results, Gov. Doug Ducey took to Twitter to defend the state鈥檚 electoral process and voting system.

I鈥檝e been pretty outspoken about Arizona鈥檚 election system, and bragged about it quite a bit, including in the Oval Office. And for good reason. 1/

In Arizona, we have some of the strongest election laws in the country, laws that prioritize accountability and clearly lay out procedures for conducting, canvassing, and even contesting the results of an election. 3/

The problems that exist in other states simply don鈥檛 apply here. I鈥檝e also said all along, I鈥檓 going to follow the law. So here鈥檚 what the law says鈥� 5/

Ducey has repeatedly defended Arizona鈥檚 long-standing mail-in voting system. At the Oval Office with President Donald Trump in August of this year, he that 鈥渨e鈥檝e established a system that works and can be trusted.鈥�
