This competition showcases contributions both from major manufacturers and smaller innovators, highlighting the diverse achievements within the state鈥檚 manufacturing industry.
What is the product:
The Dexcom G7 is a straightforward continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system that provides real-time glucose readings directly on your smartphone or smartwatch鈥攚ithout the need for fingersticks. It allows users to effortlessly track their glucose levels and trends, enabling smarter, timely decisions around food and activity to manage diabetes more effectively. The G7 can be used to monitor both diabetes type 1 and type 2. Dexcom, which makes the device in Mesa, has been a leader in glucose biosensing since 1999.
What does it do:
The Dexcom G7 offers customizable alerts that notify users up to 20 minutes before a low glucose event (Urgent Low Soon alert) and when the user鈥檚 glucose levels are too high.
